It seems everyone and his dog is either taking or planning a gap year - we know several adventurous souls who've taken themselves off to Argentina or Mexico recently. Jolly good fun it sounds too!
But for us it's a bit different. As many of you know we've recently started a family and are now in charge of two littl'uns of just 6 months and 21 months. With that in mind, we have made the really difficult decision to take some time away from Earthly Treasures while we adjust to family life and reflect upon where we'd like to take things next.
We've loved seeing the evolution of Earthly Treasures over the years, from frequenting a cold market stall in Northumberland with handcrafted jewellery, bags and fairtrade bits 'n' bobs, to a fully-fledged online store running from our own premises, and working with a number of fabulous suppliers.
But things have changed for us, both personally and professionally, and we need some time to mull things over, enjoy our new family, and piece together a new future for Earthly Treasures that fits in well with our changing responsibilities and which we hope will be even more exciting - for us and for you!
We have some great ideas and projects in the pipeline, and we'll keep you updated with all our news, events and special offers as we think of 'em!
